Feelings Play Lab: Emotion Regulation Group for Children
($50 per session • 45 minutes • 8 weeks • For ages 5–7 or 8–10)
Exploring big feelings through play, creativity, and connection.
Children experience big emotions every day — but sometimes they need a safe space to understand and manage them. Feelings Play Lab is a fun, play-based therapy group where children explore their emotions through art, games, movement, and sensory play. Each session invites children to experiment with feelings the way scientists explore their world — through curiosity, creativity, and gentle guidance.
This group helps children build self-awareness, practice calming skills, and strengthen emotional vocabulary in a supportive, nurturing environment. Activities are designed to promote co-regulation, body awareness, and confidence in expressing feelings safely.
Being part of a group helps children realize they are not alone in having big feelings. Through shared play and positive peer interactions, kids practice empathy, patience, and communication in ways that naturally build confidence and social connection.
Feelings Play Lab empowers children to understand their inner world, connect with others, and grow a stronger sense of calm and self-confidence that lasts beyond the therapy room.
-
Adventure Time: Virtual Sandtray Group for Children
($75 per session • 60 minutes • 10 weeks • For ages 5–7 or 8–10)
Exploring emotions and stories through creativity and play — no sand required!
In this creative and engaging virtual group, children use the Virtual Sandtray App to bring their inner worlds to life through play. Each week, participants build imaginative “sand worlds” that help them express thoughts and feelings they might not have words for. Through guidance and support, children learn to explore their emotions, problem-solve, and develop self-awareness in a supportive small-group setting.
The group blends the principles of play therapy, sandtray therapy, and EMDR-informed approaches to help children:
Practice emotion regulation and coping skills
Strengthen social and communication skills
Build confidence and resilience through symbolic play
Experience connection and validation from peers
No sand or cleanup required — just an iPad with the Virtual Sandtray App! This group is ideal for children who benefit from visual and creative expression, those managing anxiety or stress, or children who simply love imaginative play.

The Inside Story: EMDR Group for Children
($100 per session • 60 minutes • 12 weeks • For ages 6–10)
Helping children rewrite their story with strength and safety.
Children often carry stress or worry inside, even when they can’t find the words to explain it. The Inside Story is a gentle and creative EMDR therapy group designed to help children make sense of their experiences and begin to heal from the inside out. Through playful, developmentally appropriate activities like art, sandtray, and storytelling, children learn ways to calm their bodies, organize big feelings, and feel safe in their own stories.
This group supports children who have experienced stress, loss, or trauma—whether from everyday challenges or more difficult life events. Using EMDR group protocols such as G-TEP (Group Traumatic Episode Protocol) and IGTP-OTS (Integrative Group Treatment Protocol for Ongoing Traumatic Stress), along with techniques like the Butterfly Hug, grounding, and resourcing, children gently reprocess stored experiences in a way that promotes lasting healing and resilience.
Each session blends structure and play to help children rediscover feelings of safety, confidence, and connection. Through guidance and support, children learn that their story matters — and that it can become one of strength, hope, and growth.
