Opportunities for therapists seeking to deepen their skills in EMDR, play therapy, case conceptualization, & clinical decision-making.

Supporting Therapists in Bringing Healing to Children Through Play, Presence, and Connection

I provide professional development opportunities for therapists working with children and families, including EMDR consultation, play therapy peer consultation, and interactive clinical decision-making labs.

My work is grounded in a deep respect for children's natural capacity for healing and the therapeutic power of play, relationship, and attunement. Across all services, I emphasize developmentally responsive practice, therapeutic attunement, and honoring each child's unique path toward healing and growth.

Whether you are seeking consultation to deepen your EMDR or play therapy skills, support navigating complex clinical cases, or opportunities to strengthen your clinical decision-making through discussion and experiential learning, these offerings are designed to provide a supportive space for growth, reflection, and professional development.

To support accessibility and equity within the helping professions, discount codes are available for many services and can be found in each service description. Reduced rates are offered for graduate students, early-career clinicians who are not yet independently licensed, and professionals working in nonprofits, townships, hospitals, schools, and community mental health settings.

EMDR CONSULTATION

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training™, I offer EMDR consultation for therapists and mental health professionals who have completed EMDR Basic Training, including the required consultation hours. These consultations are designed for those seeking EMDR Certification or simply looking for ongoing support in their work with children ages 12 and under.

My approach is grounded in developmentally responsive EMDR with children and integrates non-directive play therapy, sandtray therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy, attachment-based play therapy, directive family-based EMDR approaches, and C-GTEP-informed approaches. Consultation is tailored to the needs of the clinician, the child, and the treatment goals.

Whether you're seeking guidance on playful resourcing, incorporating bilateral stimulation naturally within sandtray or other creative modalities, integrating EMDR into family work, utilizing C-GTEP-informed interventions with children, or deepening attunement to a child's cues during reprocessing, consultation offers a space of curiosity, reflection, and support. The emphasis is always on staying present and responsive while helping clinicians apply EMDR in developmentally appropriate and clinically effective ways.

PLAY THERAPY PEER CONSULTATION

As a Registered Play Therapist™, I offer peer consultation for therapists seeking support in their work with children and families. Consultation provides a space to explore complex cases, strengthen attunement, navigate therapeutic challenges, and build confidence in your work.

Whether you are new to play therapy or looking to deepen your skills, peer consultation offers an opportunity to reflect on your work, explore clinical questions, and strengthen your ability to remain present, responsive, and relationship-focused while making thoughtful clinical decisions.

Topics may include play therapy skills, therapeutic powers of play, limit setting, caregiver involvement, family play therapy, attachment-based interventions, school-based services, supporting neurodivergent children, and integrating play therapy into a variety of clinical settings.

Areas of special interest include attachment, trauma, neurodivergence, family play therapy, parent-child relationships, and school-based services.

These services are intended for professional development and peer support. Peer consultation does not constitute supervision and does not qualify toward Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™) credentialing requirements.

CLINICAL DECISION-MAKING LABS

Clinical Decision-Making Labs are interactive educational workshops designed to strengthen therapists' ability to think critically about complex clinical situations. Using fictional child cases, evolving play scenes, and guided discussion, participants explore case conceptualization, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making in a supportive learning environment.

These workshops focus on the clinical thinking behind effective practice rather than teaching a specific protocol. Participants are encouraged to explore multiple perspectives, strengthen their decision-making skills, and build confidence navigating complex clinical situations.

Clinical Decision-Making Labs are intended for professional development only. No continuing education credits are provided, and participation does not count toward EMDRIA certification requirements, Registered Play Therapist™ credentialing requirements, or other professional certifications/licensures.
